Eco-Village Participant Information
About the Eco-Village
In addition to providing a stimulating, academic program for K-8 students, Black Pine Circle School aims to nurture responsible world citizens and engages students in endeavors that lead toward that goal. The Eco-village represents BPC’s commitment to create conscientious students.
The Eco-village will be a collection of organizations, businesses, and activities representing different aspects of eco-living and eco-consciousness including:
• Food, Dining, & Gardening
• Preservation of land and delicate ecosystems
• Energy Usage
• Ecological Footprint
• Consumption
• Overall Good Stewardship and Eco-consciousness
The Ecovillage is important to BPC because it represents our values, which we wish to promote and share with our community and guests in this public venue. To get the most out of this portion of Cornucopia, our guests will be encouraged to complete a “scavenger hunt” by visiting each both. Those who successfully complete it will receive a prize.
Participant Criterion
To participate, your organization or business must:
• Be actively engaged in positive environmental change.
• Include hands-on educational framing (what are the motivations and facts driving your organization or business?).

• Complete the registration form and send information about your organization or business.
• Send a fee of $250 (for-profit businesses only).
