is Black Pine Circle School’s major annual fundraiser. Black Pine Circle School, the model for discovery-based teaching, is an independent private school with a tradition of 34 years in West Berkeley. BPC embodies the abundance of creative and academic industry, conscientiousness, and cultural richness found in our neighborhoods. Cornucopia has been crafted upon these principles.

West Berkeley’s only Arts & Crafts Festival, unites residents, artists, and independent businesses in a celebration of qualities and values that make West Berkeley thrive. corn•u•co•pia brings together a multitude of entertainment, art activities, art and food vendors, and neighbors that represent the diversity and abundance of talent and ingenuity of this neighborhood. There is unity in diversity and nothing demonstrates this more than corn•u•co•pia.

The site of corn•u•co•pia is Black Pine Circle School (on 7th Street between Addison St. and University Ave), which sits at the scene of the early days of the West Berkeley township – West Berkeley’s Town Hall (registered with the Berkeley Historical Society). What better place to converge as a community than here, where the roots of industry and inventiveness took hold?

Proceeds from corn•u•co•pia benefit Black Pine Circle School’s Financial Aid Program. Black Pine Circle School is committed to need-blind admission. That means BPC will provide the means for all students admitted to BPC to attend. In three years BPC has more than doubled its need-based scholarship disbursements. This is due to our fundraising events, such as corn•u•co•pia, and individual donations from our parent and greater community.
